Site Visit to NUS Food Science & Technology Department & Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health
Objectives: To gain a deeper understanding of NUS’s focus areas in nutrition, food science, and public health research. To tour the Food Science & Technology department’s teaching and research laboratories, including food processing and sensory science, food safety and foodomic, biochemical and clinical nutrition, as well as Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein. To visit the Singapore Population Health Studies operations site at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and learn about their data collection activities and facilities used for cohort studies.
